![]() Low and behold, I tried an different USB-C cable, that was shorter and the flickering disappeared. I am reaching on my loose understanding of the signals involved here, but I know that sending enough power and having enough throughput for data for 4K is not trivial. I was about ready to give up when I looked at the length of the USB-C cable the Brio 4K comes with and wondered ever so curiously to my self, if maybe this was a simple as the cable being not good enough to carry the signal to the camera. My absolute garbage built in laptop webcam does not flicker so I knew immediately that this was not an issue with lighting. ![]() ![]() I have a few different webcams, including a Logitech C920 and the only one that seemed to be unable to maintain a stable framerate to avoid flickering was the Brio. There is a response in this thread that mentions adding additional light sources should fix the issue and that is true, but it 100% should not be required. I had the Brio 4K before the office move and it worked great up stairs in a room with lots of windows and an abundance of natural light, but downstairs the camera flickers despite being well lit with several 60Hz LED lights. The full context of my situation is that we finished the basement in our house and I moved my office downstairs. ![]() This included messing around with exposures, frame rates, gamma, flicker reduction, low light compensation and a few things I am sure I am forgetting. I shall start by saying that I tried the standard array of things that seemed to help, but not fix the issue. Unexpected Solution Quite Upset with Logitech Make sure you have the latest driver available through Windows update.Īlso, check your anti-flicker setting from the software and select the anti-flicker rate based on the electrical frequency in your location. Video flicker may also be linked to your USB 3.1 controller. To ensure consistent video quality, we recommend that you use a system with a dedicated graphics card. We advise that when you use a laptop, connect it to its power source, and reduce the number of apps that are running simultaneously. Please refer to the recommended computer specifications ( ) to ensure your hardware meets the requirements. Please be informed that there are a few reasons why you may be experiencing flicker in your video. Terminate any applications or processes you may not be using. Too many processes running on your CPU can affect the overall quality of your video stream. The focus on the camera is automatic and should adjust itself. If your camera output appears blurry or the focus will not resolve to a clear, non-blurry image, try to trigger the “autofocus” - hold your hand in front of the lens and then remove it. Verify that the network or video conferencing service is not the cause of the video quality issues, by trying a local video application like Windows 10 Camera Application and checking the video quality locally. Please help! Any and all information is greatly appreciated. Ideally I would like to get this resolved instead of returning this. Serial Number is available and can be provided to Logitech I've also tried both options in G HUB for 50 and 60 for Anti Flicker. (3) This does not seem to be a light issue, I have tried putting my hand over the camera and it still flickers. ![]() I have also tried plugging the BRIO into other vetted slots to no avail. (2) The slot itself has been tested with other devices and is working properly. (1) The device is directly wired with provided wire directly to a USB 3.0 slot on the motherboard. See below for images and more information: I tested it in Discord as well and am seeing it there as well. I plugged it in directly to my computer, installed Logitech G Hub and opened the app to see the preview to see insane flickering. I just received a Logitech BRIO 4K I ordered from Amazon. ![]()
